The Session Summary screen presents the user with the following information about the Session:
- Elapsed Time: Total Session Time.
- Average Shot Time
- Shot Count
- Total Score: Both in a whole number format (599/600) and in tenth of a point format (603.4).
- Shot History: this section displays all shots recorded. Scroll to move up an down between shot. It also displays any notes you may have recorded during your session

You can resume your Session by clicking the Resume Session Button.

Session time is paused while on Summary screen.

Once you have finished recording your shots, click review to go through your session.

Choose the Set Size you wish to be displayed (1, 5, 10, 20 or all shots) and click next and back to go through the sets. You will notice that the average set score is displayed at the top (MPI – Mean Point of Impact) with the average shot direction. The average shot time is also visible. When choosing a set of 1, the average shot time is replaced by the individual shot time (time from previous shot).

The Shot number (when Set Size=1) or Shot Set is displayed at the top of the screen.

Note that the application will automatically zoom in and out in each Set to accommodate the lowest score recorded. Of course you can zoom in and out manually by pinching the screen.

The very core feature of the ISSF Trainer is the ability to easily and intuitively record your hits as soon as you hit your target. Once a session is created, you simply need to touch the screen and move your finger where you want to place your shot and release. The shot will be recorded and the application will move to the next shot automatically – ready for accepting a new one! For ease of use, each time a new target is displayed and ready to accept a new shot, it is zoomed in so you can see the 8,9 and 10 rings. Should you wish to zoom out, simply pinch the screen with both fingers and you will be able to zoom out to up to the 1 ring.

As you move your finger on the screen to place your shot, you will notice that the application accurately calculates the score and it’s direction relative to the center of the target. This is very useful later to analize your session. The session subtotal is also displayed as an aggregate score calculated in tenths of a point.

At the top of the Record Session screen you will find the left and right arrow buttons. These buttons are there so you could navigate between shots and modify them within the session if such a need arises. You will also find a shot counter, shot time and overall session time.

The Notes button at the top right corner serves as a note-pad of your session. At any point in time you can click on the Notes button and add comments and change your shot color so later you can easily spot the place where you made a change. For example, if you modified your shoulder strap in mid session, you can record such a note and change the shot color.

Click Done when you wish to exit the session (you can resume the session later).

The ISSF Trainer is a unique new app for your iphone/ipod which provides you with a power training aid for your ISSF Olympic shooting training and match session.
The application utilizes the touch screen features of the Iphone, allowing you to record the position of each shot as it is fired during your practice session or match. It also keeps track of the time elapsed between shots, and help you analyze this time to show what speed of shooting produces your best results.
You can select from several shooting disciplines, including 10m Air Rifle, 10m Air Pistol, 50m Rifle and Standard pistol 25 and 50m, and 300m Rifle. Each discipline records the shots on the correct target design and shot size.

You can review your practice on the device, replaying the shots one by one, or showing them in groups of 5,10,20 or all, and you can easily export by email, which includes lists as well as graphic pictures of the shots fired.

The applications allows you to insert notes and comments mid session, and even change the color of the shot after a note or equipment change.
Sessions recorded include information about the date, location, conditions and equipment notes and can be modified as you go.
